About

I am a Philosophy PhD student at Sapienza University of Rome, with an interest in fundamental questions about ethics, language, and the nature of philosophical inquiry.

Beyond philosophy, I like reading fiction, watching movies and TV series, eating, and playing games.

"You could attach prices to thoughts. Some cost a lot, some a little. And how does one pay for thought? The Answer, I think, is: with courage."

Research

My research examines Cora Diamond’s contributions to contemporary philosophical debates, emphasizing the significance of Wittgenstein’s philosophy for ethics. My project focuses both on Diamond's "resolute" reading of the Tractatus and on her original, anti-theoretical perspective on moral philosophy.

I am interested in metaethical questions concerning the scope and limits of philosophy, and the consequences of these limits for moral thought and contemporary philosophical discourse. Not surprisingly, I enjoy engaging with approaches that bridge philosophical inquiry with other fields of study, and I'm particularly interested in the relationship between philosophy and the arts.

Areas of Interest:

Ethics and Moral Philosophy
Philosophy of Language
Philosophy of Mind
Wittgenstein
Early Analytic Philosophy

Public Writings

I sometimes write about videogames on Substack, exploring this relatively new medium with philosophical tools.
